Jimmy Zeigler is a well-established guitar instructor who has been teaching in the Tri-Valley for over 20 years. He’s known for being “on the edge” of inspiration at all times, and brings his passion and experience to his students at JAMS Music. He always brings fresh energy and ideas to his lessons. His style and talent is “one-of-a-kind.”
He has a bold rock style, and the skill to infuse jazz, fusion, country, and pop effortlessly and at will. Beyond those styles, Jimmy adds another dimension of expression through his breath-taking performances on acoustic guitar. It’s through this talent Jimmy is able to help aspiring musicians of all age and skill level to bring out the best of their abilities.
In addition to building student’s confidence with their playing, Jimmy focuses on music theory, sight reading, composition, and improvising to improve your playing.
As a recording artist, Jimmy has worked with many artists and groups with platinum record sales, such as Huey Lewis, Brad Gillis/Night Ranger, Terry Haggerty, Tommy Castro Band, Pat-Thrall, Dave Meniketti/Y & T, Tower of Power, Mark MCBee/Allman Brothers, to name a few. His repertoire includes over 500 original songs, both alone and collaboratively, including recordings with EMI, A&M Records, Goston Music, and Cambia Records.
