Vocal Lessons

James Perez is a vocalist, composer, educator and multi-instrumentalist from the San Francisco Bay Area. James has been performing from a young age, performing a multitude of musical styles ranging from classical, pop/rock, indie, and jazz. He had received his education in Vocal Performance from Cal State East Bay, Hayward and Las Positas College in Livermore, under the tutelage of vocal instructors Christine Abraham, Ian Brekke, and Ash Walker.

As a teacher, James focuses on the student’s interests, using this to teach proper vocal control and technique to blossoming vocalists. Giving singers the best tools they can have to sound their very best. 

James is excited to be teaching at JAMS Music, ready to share his passion with you.

James Perez is available to teach children and adults vocal lessons at our store on Thursdays.
