John Honea is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist with 27 years of drumming experience. He took lessons right here in Dublin and developed a deep connection to the community.
John specializes in jazz and rock styles, as well as marching snare. In his lessons, he emphasizes timing, drumming fundamentals, and helping students prepare for school-related music programs. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate drummer, taking lessons with John would ensure a strong foundation and confidence.
John served in the Marine Corps and has also performed with multiple bands in the Bay Area. In his spare time, John coaches lacrosse at local schools, spends time with his cats, and watches movies.
