Patient with me as I checked out a few guitars and saw the Mesa dual rectifier sitting on the way, I left asking for a card and to buy cool store magnet guitar shaped. He said you can have it cool thanks I said leaving the store. Long story short I bought the Mesa dual rectifier at a great price and they shipped in to me going the extra mile to get a new box from Mesa to ship it to me in LA. (Your awesome John thx). “Brian Hart, the JAMS String Tech, is a wizard. I took in a budget Takamine GS-330S that’s never played particularly well in the decade+ that I’ve owned it. I’d recently taken it to another shop in town and they told me it was a lost cause. I figured I’d get it looked at one more time before giving up on it. Well, Brian was able to take a pretty rough player and turn it into a joy.
The rest of the shop is great; the vibe is low pressure and the staff is willing to answer questions patiently. The lesson rooms are in a separate space in the same shopping center and are very nice.
Overall, a great shop and I’m glad they’re in town. And if you need a guitar worked on, start there.”
